Heres What I Think...
I love Brickell’s facial scrub for a few reasons. First, I have naturally oily skin and the scrub does a good job of eliminating some of those excess oils from my forehead and nose, in particular. Secondly, the pumice particles in the renewing face scrub do a great job of clearing away dead skin and dirt, while opening up and clearing my pores. Third, my skin just plain looks better after using this scrub. It looks younger and more vibrant, but less oily. I call that a win. Lastly, it just smells great. I’m a sucker for herbal aromas mixed with peppery tones. What can I say?
Brickell claims that their scrub will last you two months if used three or four times per week. That seems about right to me, though I haven’t exactly kept a log of how long each 4-ounce jar lasts me. I use this every other day, or possibly more depending on how I’m feeling about my face that week, and pair it with either Brickell’s Clarifying Gel Face Wash or Fulton and Roark’s Face Wash with tea tree oil and eucalyptus. Then, after patting my face dry, I’ll replenish some of my skin’s moisture with Brickell’s Daily Defense Face Moisturizer. But that’s just my personal routine. You can definitely mix and match products from any of the brands we carry to great effect, so if you have a favorite moisturizer or face wash already, feel free to continue to use those and simply add the renewing scrub as a prewash exfoliant.
